Assistant Superintendent Kiya Hunt poised to succeed Jim

The Canal Winchester Colleges announced July 7 that the board has a preferred applicant to realize success Superintendent Jim Sotlar, who’s resigning efficient Aug. 1.

The board, soon after voting 5- to take Sotlar’s resignation, went into govt session later in the assembly to explore next actions for using the services of a superintendent and held an informal interview with Assistant Superintendent Kiya Hunt to gauge her fascination in the function, in accordance to both equally communications coordinator Megan Anthony and treasurer Nick Roberts. No official vote or decision was designed.
